Big thanks to my good friend @leslie_bit for the beta invite to @renaissxyz! This seems to be the first RWA card project I’ve seen on the BSC chain. A while back, opening card packs on the Solana chain was pretty popular in the studio circle. We spent around 6000 USDT on wear and tear just to grind for points. The business logic is pretty straightforward: you open Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and other game cards on-chain, and you can either choose to recycle them immediately or have the project team mail them to you. This kind of business model is all about creating insane cash flow. When I first saw this track, I was super optimistic about it. Initially, I approached it with the mindset of grinding for points and farming airdrops. Back then, I was even calculating the odds of different card packs. But because there’s an option for immediate recycling, it’s easy to get addicted and keep opening more (this is almost guaranteed to happen). That said, I did think of two issues at the time: how do you ensure the randomness and transparency of the card draw probabilities? Renaiss has provided an answer to this. The card opening happens directly on-chain, and you can verify it on BscScan using a Merkle tree. Overall, the product experience during testing was pretty good. The website was a bit laggy, probably because it’s still a test version. My luck wasn’t bad—I managed to pull a rare card. I chose to recycle it at the time, mainly to test the recycling process, and it was pretty smooth. Since this is the first project I’ve seen on the BSC chain, I’m really hoping to see the official version released soon. Also, I’d love to see support from Binance. That would make farming airdrops and trading points even more straightforward. I’m personally very optimistic about this track. Once the official version is live, I’ll write a more detailed post about it.
