I've heard a lot of FUD today about Monad announcing the partnership for the 7.5% public sale ICO at 0.025.
Majority of people that are mad are the ones who think their free airdrop will be worth less.
I think they're being shortsighted.
Strategy for MON is pretty obvious - the 3.3% given to CT (at ZERO cost basis to recipients) was marketing targeted at rewarding the crypto native community.
My view is the 7.5% reserved for the public sale can essentially be viewed as another airdrop targeting rewarding and building hype to the general public.
Premarket prices are currently trading between five and six cents... which means anyone lucky enough to get in on the sale will already be up nearly 2x with zero required vesting.
This should be massively oversubscribed, and rather than giving away 100M like they did with the CT airdrop, the team raises another 187.5M they can use toward building the eco.
One other kicker - the public sale may not require any vesting before you sell, but if any participants sell before 30 days, your allos for future Coinbase ICOs might get slashed.
Have a feeling when other projects like BASE launch, you'll want the max allo you can get.
Think there are a lot of incentives to see this pump into TGE. Just my thoughts. We'll see how it goes.(K A L E O)
