SENATE RELEASES THREE DRAFT BILLS TO HELP END SHUTDOWN The Senate has unveiled three draft bills covering Agriculture and the FDA, the Legislative Branch, and Military Construction and Veterans Affairs. Together, they represent about 10% of total federal funding. However, these bills do not address the main cause of the shutdown—the pending expiration of ACA Medicare subsidies.
