After seeing this tweet this afternoon, I found it quite unbelievable. If it's true, it's quite in line with the conspiracy theories circulating online.
This is a very serious accusation.
The core of the accusation is that Binance specifically modified the terms before 1011 to prepare for large-scale liquidation.
Although I think the possibility is small, I immediately went to the snapshot on Wayback Machine to compare it. But it's strange that there was a problem with the website today. I tried several snapshots before October 10th but couldn't open them.
found https://archive.ph/cyhfq The previous version, but this one is too old and was updated in June 2024, so I gave up.
I suddenly discovered tonight that a Wayback Machine link provided by @ Xeift1 can be opened, which is a version of the snapshot taken on July 21, 2025, with an update date of May 6.
Portal: https://web.archive.org/web/20250721220855/https://www. (binance.com)/en/terms
This is quite valuable, just compare it with the latest version (updated on October 10th) to verify whether @ ctomservice's allegations are true.
So the result is:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
First:
The so-called inclusion of 28 clauses is completely unfounded, as all the details of the clauses are completely consistent and not a single word is missing.
Second:
Article 30 has undergone some modifications in the October 10th version, including clarifying the specific definition of operational risks in the underlying protocols of digital assets, such as
Smart contract vulnerabilities
Cross chain bridge attacks (bridge exploits)
Oracle failures
Validator Slashing
Blockchain related issues
Further declare complete exemption from liability for "external blockchain networks or third-party infrastructure".
But it does not match the theme emphasized by the victims of "adding a new disclaimer agreement from scratch". If we want to say that Binance's own disclaimer agreement has problems, then this disclaimer agreement was already in its current version on May 6th - declaring complete disclaimer for "external blockchain networks or third-party infrastructure".
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I certainly don't think the victims deliberately fabricated facts to guide public opinion and online violence in order to attack Binance due to the 1011 liquidation, after all, it's not uncommon for AI to have hallucinations now.
I tried feeding her original tweet to chatgpt, and GPT also gave me a hallucination performance, saying that 28.5 items had been modified, even though I had copied both versions of the English original text for comparison.
It admitted its mistake only after I pointed out that 28.5 words were identical
So, the final conclusion is that it is highly likely that the victim fed the material and AI to create an AI illusion.
This powerful conspiracy theory hammer, which she thought was super invincible and globally shocking, made her excited and attacked a lot of people who thought they would laugh at Binance or hurt Binance's feet. In the end, it hit her own foot.
I don't know if Binance will pursue responsibility in the future, after all, this has a large number of views. But I won't watch it anymore. This melon is not ripe yet, it's wasting an hour of my time.
