Stablecoin 2.0, to put it simply, shifts the role of stablecoin issuer from centralized companies to the users themselves. Users become the minters and can mint AmericaT by depositing RWAS into STBL. The mechanism behind AmericaT is supported by STBL's split revenue structure. After receiving AmericaT, we can freely participate in defi activities, but we can also earn interest from the yield-bearing stablecoin. In other words, our underlying collateral asset RWAS can still generate returns. As shown in Figure 1, this highlights the main differences between Stablecoin 1.0 and STBL Stablecoin 2.0.
