Is altcoin season really here? With ZEC leading the way against the trend, FIL and ICP are up, FLUX is up, AR is also up. A lot of altcoins don’t seem to be following BTC’s movements anymore. It looks like everything is thriving, but bros, let’s stay rational. The altcoins that have been pumping the hardest these past few days are mainly in sectors like privacy, storage, and cloud computing. It seems like sector rotation, but in reality, they can all be grouped under the AI narrative. That’s because the stories behind their pumps are all tied to AI integration. Without new tech, old tech can only stack blocks and tell stories. Secondly, the biggest difference between altcoins and mainstream coins is that they pump fast, but they also dump fast. Aside from ZEC, many of these coins have pumped, but if you look at the weekly chart, they’re still at the bottom. Keep in mind that most old projects have dropped from hundreds or tens of dollars to just a few cents or a few bucks now. It’s not that these projects are amazing; it’s more likely that they’re experiencing a suppressed rebound after a long period of decline. Returning to their previous prices and market caps is almost impossible. The whale capital is smart. Why didn’t these old coins perform well when BTC was leading the market earlier? Why do they only pop up when BTC is dropping or moving sideways? Because in a bull market, the themes are clear, and the traffic doesn’t belong to them. Only when the market calms down do they attract attention. Often, this kind of situation is a signal of a bear market. They might just be draining the market’s last bit of liquidity. So, bros, don’t blindly believe in anything. Play the speculation game, take profits, and leave. It’s not the time to go all in yet. All tech is just a story until it’s actually applied. The real bull market in crypto can only be driven by one coin: BTC. Only BTC can attract external traffic to the space. Everything else just consumes internal liquidity. Positive news for mainstream coins is the only real positive news for the market!
