This wave of altcoins' epic comeback is blowing up on those 'geniuses' who were convinced altcoins were dead and kept shorting all the way down. While DeFi is facing contagion risks and the US stock market keeps breaking lower, altcoins and BTC are instead starting to bottom out and rebound. This shows that the selling pressure from outside the market has temporarily dried up, and the market is back to an internal tug-of-war phase. Whichever side—long or short—gets too heavy, that's the side that flips over. Instead of obsessing over whether this is an exit pump, why not ask the retail traders around you who are playing with contracts: Are they feeling more like chasing the pump right now? Or are they stuck in shorts and still want to double down on shorting?
