Last night, my friend was super excited. As soon as they walked in, they shoved their phone at me: 'Check this out! It can place orders on its own!' I thought it was just another scam app, but when I looked, it was actually an on-chain operation—my wallet went off to Base and did a whole round of stuff on its own. When I got home and looked it up, turns out it’s the new Strategies from @Infinit_Labs. I was honestly blown away at that moment: what used to take opening a dozen tabs and clicking around for ages in DeFi can now be done with one command. Crazy, but super useful. Here are a few solid updates I’ve been keeping an eye on these past few days: 1) Strategies launched on Base, enabling one-click multi-step DeFi interactions; 2) Integrated with BNB Chain, combining high TPS with deterministic agent coordination; 3) Officially disclosed over 637k+ Agent transactions to date; 4) Community reports over 20+ strategies available, covering everything from cross-pool arbitrage to risk hedging; 5) Collaboration with Virtuals to extend capabilities into broader autonomous systems. The devs think the real highlight isn’t just 'placing orders,' but abstracting DeFi into a closed loop of 'intent → simulation → packaging → execution → review': newbies make fewer mistakes, and experienced players can modularize their expertise into reusable assets. In the short term, the Base/BNB combo can reduce failure rates and latency; in the mid-term, the network effect of the strategy marketplace could turn high-quality strategies into 'apps,' allowing creators to earn revenue shares. Let’s not romanticize it though: strategies aren’t risk-free. MEV, slippage, and approvals all need to be managed. Start small, check execution logs and backtests, and then decide if you want to let the Agent handle it long-term. I’ll keep monitoring the data—if there’s a trap, I’ll step on it first.
