Ripple Stablecoin RLUSD Market Cap Surpasses $1 Billion According to CoinDesk, Ripple's USD stablecoin RLUSD has surpassed a $1 billion market cap in less than a year since its launch, ranking as the 10th largest USD stablecoin. The token is issued by Standard Custody & Trust Company, backed by USD and short-term U.S. Treasury bonds, and has been integrated into Ripple's payment and liquidity system. The current circulation is approximately $819 million on Ethereum and $203 million on the XRP Ledger. Ripple stated that it has processed nearly $100 billion in payments to date, with RLUSD serving as the primary settlement stablecoin.
