This is so interesting! PING, PAYAI, dreams—each of them is showing ups and downs in the secondary market. For now, it’s impossible to determine the consensus ranking of Dragon 1, Dragon 2, and Dragon 3, but the communities behind each project are already seriously divided. Everyone thinks the one they hold is the true 'Dragon 1.'
This just shows that the x402 track is still in a 'chaotic phase' of 'heroes vying for dominance.'
PING has leveraged its MEME attributes and first-mover advantage to grab the largest attention and traffic pool, but it urgently needs to build a positive flywheel model to address the current lack of market liquidity.
PAYAI has captured users’ minds with its core infrastructure role as a Facilitator, but its tokenomics scalability and commercial operation model ceiling still need time to be validated.
dreams, on the other hand, has won people’s hearts with its solid and steady role as a Provider of infrastructure services, along with a year of brand, product, and community reputation-building by its Devs team in the Agent track.
To be honest, this kind of short-term internal competition and division might not necessarily be a bad thing in the long run.
At the very least, it tells us one fact: the x402 track isn’t purely about MEME-driven attention economy logic—it can’t be sustained by hype and speculation alone. Nor is it a game that can be solved by riding short-term concepts. It requires the combined support of technology, products, operations, and ecosystem.
So, which one is your 'Dragon 1'? (I’m not choosing—they all have their merits...)
