According to Wu Blockchain, data from L2Beat shows that since October, the daily average TPS of Rollups has surged significantly, climbing from just over 200 to more than 4,400 recently, continuously setting new historical highs. L2Beat researcher donnoh.eth explained that this growth is mainly driven by Lighter, which uses Ethereum blobs in its ZK Rollup. By publishing only about 100MB of data daily, it achieves 4k+ TPS, thanks to its state diffs and application-specific architecture.
