The institutions are holding only BTC and ETH, no altcoins, so altcoins haven’t dropped. During the 3AC crash, I was also frantically trading, watching BTC and ETH plummet while shorting altcoins. But altcoins basically didn’t drop at all, while BTC and ETH kept crashing hard, and I ended up with big losses. The current trend looks a lot like institutional liquidation during a crash.
