This market cycle, to be honest, looks lively on the surface but feels a bit hollow. During the last bull run, everyone was charging forward and innovating—DeFi, NFTs, blockchain games, one after another. Even though retail investors were getting rekt, at least there were new stories to follow. But now, the market feels like an old gym member—still has the muscles, but the drive is gone. BTC is just hovering at the highs, propped up by institutions. Retail doesn’t believe in it, projects aren’t moving, and there’s no innovation. Outside, AI, RWA, and computing power sectors are thriving, but the crypto space feels like a stalled engine. Even mining farms are starting to pivot to data centers. I’m starting to wonder—have we already gone from being crypto innovators to just another appendage of traditional finance?
