Yesterday, I was in the server room with a friend swapping out a power supply. The fans were blowing like crazy, and he suddenly asked: Besides running AI, can these GPUs 'make money on their own'? I told him about the new roadmap I saw the other day from @cysic_xyz. My mindset went from laughing it off to taking notes—if computing power can be split, take orders, and settle payments, this pile of hardware might actually turn into an asset. Here are the things I’m keeping an eye on lately: 1) 10/28 roadmap release: ZK acceleration → network coordination → ComputeFi marketplace. Three layers combined, aiming to turn GPUs/ASICs into programmable, verifiable sources of income. 2) Lots of posts are interpreting the mainnet/TGE launch as happening in the November window (some even betting on mid-November), but there’s no official announcement yet—don’t gamble on dates. 3) Yapper rankings are still being updated, and the timeline seems to hint at a 'see you at the top next week' vibe. 4) The whitepaper reveals a dual-token system (CYS/CGT) and verifiable settlement, emphasizing the transformation of heterogeneous computing power into composable assets. The engineers think: The real battle isn’t about 'having chips' but 'having actual workloads.' Whether the launch day can immediately integrate tasks like ZK proofs, AI inference, and stabilize utilization will determine if the APR is just a flash in the pan. The dual-token + verification mechanism is a highlight, but ultimately, it’s about cash flow, not slogans. My approach: Keep an eye on mainnet announcements and task boards, aim for the rankings within my capacity, and avoid burning out.
