[Balancer: This attack is limited to V2 Composable Stable Pools and does not affect Balancer V3 or other types of pools] According to a report by Jinse Finance, Balancer posted on Platform X stating that at approximately 7:48 AM UTC today, the Balancer V2 Composable Stable Pools were subjected to an attack. Our team is working with top security researchers to investigate the root cause of the issue and will share more findings and a full post-mortem report as soon as possible. Since these pools have been operating on-chain for years, many of them are beyond the time window for pausing. All pools that can still be paused have been paused and are now in recovery mode. Other Balancer pools are unaffected. This issue is limited to V2 Composable Stable Pools and does not impact Balancer V3 or other types of pools.
