Previously, I saw star_okx Mr. Xu... going crazy promoting X402. I couldn’t figure out who had tricked him. He kept working hard for Base, but the Base interest group didn’t buy it and even resisted. It’s so ridiculous. Let me break it down for you.
As we all know, xlayer was tricked by @0xPolygon into using it, and then AggLayer was released.
The founder of Polygon created the AI protocol @SentientAGI. Moreover, Polygon and Sentient jointly invested in the AI execution agent @Talus_Labs.
These three together form the AI closed-loop triangle within the Polygon ecosystem (Sentient (AGI protocol) + Polygon (L2 infrastructure) + Talus (AI execution agent)).
Now, combining this with the fact that X402 is Coinbase’s protocol from May, and Talus only supported X402-ready in November...
I’m boldly guessing the story might go like this:
Coinbase casually launched the X402 protocol in May, but no one cared.
Polygon tricked OKX into releasing xlayer.
Then in November, Polygon created the AggLayer X402-ready narrative to hype things up and informed their ecosystem partner, Mr. Xu, saying xlayer is awesome now because it’s X402-ready.
Mr. Xu started hyping X402 to the public, but ended up boosting the Base ecosystem instead.
If I’m wrong, just take it as a joke.
What I want to say here is that criticizing Mr. Xu is easy, but that’s not impressive.
If you can hype things up like the Indians and trick Mr. Xu into joining, *that’s* impressive!
