[World Gold Council: As of October 30, international gold prices have hit record highs 50 times, with Q3 demand reaching a historic record] The World Gold Council released the Q3 2025 'Global Gold Demand Trends Report,' which shows that as of October 30, international gold prices have hit record highs 50 times this year. In Q3, global gold demand (including over-the-counter transactions) totaled 1,313 tons, with a total value of $146 billion, setting a record for the highest quarterly gold demand. Regarding gold ETFs, investors have significantly increased their holdings of physical gold ETFs for the third consecutive quarter, with holdings rising by 222 tons and global inflows amounting to $26 billion. In the first three quarters of 2025, global gold ETF total holdings increased by 619 tons, equivalent to approximately $64 billion.
