This round of funding will be led by Google Ventures, with potential support from Nvidia. Founded in 2017, Synthesia differs from other video generation tools like Sora by focusing on helping businesses create videos using AI-generated virtual avatars for purposes such as marketing and employee training. Currently, over 60,000 companies are using Synthesia's platform to generate their own virtual avatar videos.
