[Sources: AI Video Generation Company Synthesia Completes $200 Million Funding Round at $4 Billion Valuation]
According to Foresight News, citing sources reported by *Forbes*, London-based AI video generation startup Synthesia has completed a $200 million funding round at a $4 billion valuation, led by GV, the venture capital arm of Google’s parent company.
Earlier this month, *The Information* reported that software giant Adobe had discussed acquiring Synthesia for $3 billion, but the deal fell through due to disagreements over the price.
Synthesia uses AI models to help large enterprises transform dull training manuals into videos featuring AI-generated virtual avatars. Its clients include chemical giant DuPont, printer manufacturer Xerox, and airline Spirit. In January of this year, the company completed a $180 million funding round at a $2.1 billion valuation.
