When they finally lose all hope, that's when the opportunity to build positions will come. If you're a retail investor, you must learn to be even more ruthless than the big players and industry insiders. The coins that make you money are good coins; the rest are crap. The markets that make you money are good markets; the rest are crap. Go wherever the money is, and don't get attached to any asset or market. If you're an industry insider in crypto—like running an exchange, working in media, or market-making—switching to the stock market would reset all your sunk costs. In that case, you need to protect this space, wave the flag, and rally more retail investors to stay. What is a retail investor anyway? It's someone who has no foundation in a particular market. I think taking it step by step, staying patient, and keeping an eye on things should make it easier to make money later on. Oh, by the way, you can still short the market now. If you're skilled at shorting, you can give it a try. But I'm personally not good at shorting. For now, I'll just focus on 'cultivating my inner self.'
