I've been trading crypto since 2013. The first exchange I registered on was even earlier than OKCoin (it later went bankrupt). Over the years, I've been through: 2013-2014 Crazy pumps / policy crackdowns / crashes / futures / Mt. Gox / big bear market / liquidations / DOGE dropping below 0.00001 yuan 2015-2018 Confusion / re-entering the market / 8888 / unplugging the internet to stop losses / futures backwardation of 30% / new token launches like Qtum and GXChain / Yunbi altcoin season / ICOs flying everywhere / 94 crackdown / private placements / Bitcoin hitting $20,000 / ETH / EOS / platform tokens 2019-2022 ETH bottoming out / platform tokens pumping / 3.12 flash crash / altcoin season / NFTs / $69,000 / 5.19 crash / FTX collapse / LUNA crash / Bter and AEX rug pulls 2023-2025 Inscriptions / ETFs / runes / Trump / Magic Eden going to zero / 10.11 From all this, Hitting one positive event doesn’t guarantee you'll get rich, But stepping on one landmine can make it really hard to recover. Why do so many coins end up being unsustainable? It’s because too many go to zero. Earning a little less is better than losing it all. I’ve noticed that for many newcomers in the space, personal growth follows a similar path. Everyone needs to go through some things to truly transform—there are no shortcuts.
