Chainlink is undoubtedly the leading decentralized oracle right now, with its core mechanism being 'reputation consensus.' In Chainlink's DON, multiple nodes vote to select trusted price or data providers, and the reputation score of each node determines its weight in the network. This model works perfectly in scenarios like traditional financial data and price feeds, enabling rapid consensus in an open and verifiable environment. However, AI applications demand higher standards for data privacy and determinism. Training and inference for AI models often involve sensitive data or proprietary model parameters. If a standard reputation voting mechanism is used, nodes must process raw data in plaintext after obtaining it, which can lead to privacy leaks. Additionally, AI outputs are non-deterministic, making it difficult to ensure consistency and verifiability solely through node voting. The zkTLS oracle introduced by @DeAgentAI adopts 'cryptographic consensus.' It uses TLS encryption at the transmission layer and verifies data integrity and correctness on-chain through zero-knowledge proofs. Specifically, data providers generate ZK proofs locally to demonstrate that their processing of raw data complies with agreed rules, without exposing the data itself on-chain. On-chain validators only need to check the proof to confirm that the data has not been tampered with and meets privacy requirements, achieving end-to-end encryption and verifiability. From on-chain metrics, Chainlink currently has a market cap of approximately $11.25 billion, a 24-hour trading volume of about $1.25 billion, a current price of $16.97, and an RSI of 40, indicating a neutral market zone. Its 7-day revenue is only $4, and 30-day revenue is $318, showing that the scale of paid services directly provided on-chain remains limited. While Chainlink has a broad ecosystem for decentralized data provision, its reputation consensus model is not specifically designed to address privacy and non-determinism in AI scenarios. In contrast, DeAgentAI's zkTLS oracle directly addresses these two pain points through cryptographic consensus: · Privacy protection: Data remains encrypted throughout transmission and processing, with only zero-knowledge proofs exposed on-chain. · Result determinism: ZK proofs are tied to specific computational processes, ensuring that even with minor fluctuations in AI outputs, the results still comply with predefined verification rules.
