Yesterday's @Novastro_xyz flop was truly ugly—not only did I lose money on my investment, but it also dragged down @KaitoAI's reputation. Spent some time gathering info from various sources to piece together the bizarre moves this project made: 1. This project received Binance's Alpha + Perp offer but rejected it, apparently because they thought the allocation was too much??? Probably got misled by CJ Baldy—Alpha + Perp is already the most cost-effective way to get Binance traffic. Tons of projects are racking their brains trying to secure it. Instead, they went with a few small exchanges + on-chain, resulting in almost zero liquidity, and quickly got dumped, broke the launch price, and died. 2. The project team is super shady and has terrible character. They got early coverage from Kaito, though I didn’t participate. I did notice some mid-tier and smaller influencers genuinely trying to promote it. But right before yesterday’s launch, these Yappers shockingly discovered that the allocation the project promised them wouldn’t be available until May 29, 2026—more than half a year later. By then, they probably won’t even be able to afford KFC 3. They ghosted after getting Bybit's contract sorted. Initially, they leveraged Kaito’s buzz and bragged about securing spot listings on Binance, Korean exchanges, and other big-name CEXs, pulling in a ton of people to help. After rejecting Binance’s offer, they realized there might be issues with other listings and started begging everyone to help them get Bybit. But once others worked hard to secure the offer and sent it over, they went radio silent and ghosted. So now I’m seriously wondering what kind of brainpower this project is operating on How did it even get to this point Strongly recommend @KaitoAI set a minimum reward distribution timeline for Yappers post-TGE in the future, or trash projects like this will keep exploiting loopholes. Also, a quick defense for @0xWenMoon—Novastro was already getting coverage from Kaito long before WenMoon joined Kaito, so this shouldn’t be some Indian insider collusion
