Ethereum's next hard fork, Fusaka, went live on the Hoodi testnet on October 28, marking the final step before activation on the mainnet. The mainnet upgrade is expected to take place on December 3. Previously, Fusaka was deployed on the Holesky and Sepolia testnets. This upgrade includes over 12 Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs), focusing on introducing the Peer Data Availability Sampling (PeerDAS) mechanism, increasing the block gas limit, expanding blob capacity, and enhancing node security to improve Ethereum's scalability and data availability.
