The ultimate level of memecoin should be able to break out of its niche, connecting culture and capital flow in a significant way. From the early days of DOGE, to the rise of PEPE (ETH), and then last year’s WIF (SOL), these memes have each played the role of a bridge, drawing attention and funds from Web2 to Web3 in their respective eras. Now we have Hakimi (BSC), whose origins trace back to 2021. The term "Hakimi" first appeared in the anime *Uma Musume Pretty Derby*, and later went viral thanks to Bilibili creator 京橋剎那 (Kyobashi Setsuna) and their tuning work *Two Idiots*. Dubbed "Hakouzu," it became a symbolic representation of Hakimi music. Since then, classics like *Solitary Mambo* have emerged, and Hakimi culture quickly expanded from music to the entire short video platform. It gradually detached from its original context, becoming a symbol of abstract subculture. By 2024, Bilibili creators 白手套 (White Gloves) and 馬犬旺 (Maquanwang) released a video featuring an orange cat named "Mao Die," which reignited Hakimi’s popularity to new heights. The fierce yet contrasting orange cat was hailed as "the highest peak in Hakimi history." Today, Hakimi has spawned over 100 adapted tracks, becoming a representative icon of Chinese internet *鬼畜文化* (remix culture). Across the Chinese internet alone, related content has amassed billions of views. Now, in 2025, I hope Hakimi can become the next meme to break out of its niche, serving as a cultural bridge and spiritual symbol for this era.
