[Anthropic to Launch 'Memory' Feature for Claude Without Prompts, Gradually Rolling Out to Paid Users]
According to The Verge, Anthropic announced a 'memory' upgrade for Claude, allowing it to remember past conversations without prompts. Max subscription users can enable it in settings starting today, while Team and Enterprise users have had access since September. Pro users will gain access in the coming days, but whether it will be available to free users has not been disclosed. Users can view, edit, or disable specific memories, and create 'memory spaces' to separate different projects. It supports importing from ChatGPT and Gemini, as well as exporting at any time (referred to as 'no lock-in').
