[Leader of the UK Reform Party Says the Party Has Started Accepting Cryptocurrency Donations] According to Reuters, Nigel Farage, leader of the UK Reform Party (Reform UK), stated on Wednesday that the party has started accepting cryptocurrency donations. However, he denied that this move was an attempt to emulate former U.S. President Donald Trump's strategy to gain support from the digital asset industry. Speaking at a cryptocurrency conference in London, Nigel Farage sought to position himself as the 'only hope' for UK crypto businesses. He revealed that Reform UK has received several cryptocurrency donations but did not disclose specific details. When asked whether any crypto companies were among the donors, he said, 'Not to my knowledge,' and added, 'Perhaps we received some sponsorship from the conference.' Currently, the UK Reform Party holds only 5 of the 650 seats in Parliament, but polls show it is leading, with the next general election scheduled for 2029. Nigel Farage emphasized that he publicly supported cryptocurrencies before Trump and mentioned that he has long held cryptocurrency investments, 'occasionally having some fun when the market is good.'
