**[Ripple Plans to Lease New Landmark in London's Financial District, Annual Rent Exceeds £10 Million]**
BlockBeats News, October 21: Cryptocurrency company Ripple Labs Inc. is in negotiations to lease upper-floor space in Brookfield Group's newly constructed London skyscraper. If the deal is finalized, Ripple will move into one of the most expensive office areas in the UK's financial district.
According to insiders, Ripple plans to lease approximately 90,000 square feet (8,361.3 square meters) of office space in the Leadenhall Building in London's financial district. This 35-story building, developed by Brookfield, reportedly has an asking rent of £140 ($187.33) per square foot, making it one of the priciest office spaces in the financial district, comparable to rental levels in the upscale Mayfair area. Due to the confidentiality of the negotiations, the sources requested anonymity.
Ripple operates 15 offices globally and employs over 900 staff, providing digital asset payment and custody services to banks and financial institutions.
