The most successful NFT experiment is shutting down. Reddit Avatars onboarded millions to NFTs without most users even realizing they were on Polygon. Sadly, while NFTs can still be used as PFPs, Reddit is also shutting down the crypto wallet. It sucks. I loved the experiment and spent thousands buying rare avatars. Reddit failed to listen to the community. After the success of Gen1 and Gen2, they got greedy and flooded the market with new drops just as demand was fading.
