[Trump Refiles Defamation Lawsuit Against The New York Times] According to a report by Jinse Finance, former U.S. President Donald Trump filed a defamation lawsuit again on Thursday local time against *The New York Times* and several journalists, accusing the media outlet of attempting to undermine his 2024 campaign and damage his business reputation. Previously, a federal judge dismissed his initial lawsuit on the grounds of being overly lengthy and disorganized. The revised complaint, submitted on Thursday evening, has been reduced to 40 pages, less than half the length of the original. *The New York Times* journalist Michael S. Schmidt, who was listed as a defendant in the original lawsuit, has been removed from the list of defendants. Additionally, much of the lengthy praise for Trump has been omitted, such as statements describing his 2024 election victory as 'the greatest personal and political achievement in American history.' Consistent with the initial lawsuit, the revised complaint still seeks $15 billion in damages. (Jin10)
