[JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs Expect U.S. Initial Jobless Claims to Decline Week-on-Week]
According to a report by Golden Finance, analysts from JPMorgan Chase and Goldman Sachs estimate that the number of initial jobless claims in the U.S. last week may have decreased. However, due to weak hiring, many people remain unemployed. They estimate that for the week ending October 11, seasonally adjusted initial jobless claims across states dropped from 235,000 in the previous week to 217,000. (Jin10)
