Severe insomnia last night, the aftermath of October 11 really hit me hard. Tossed and turned, couldn’t sleep, then saw Mao’s post—absolutely shocked! Never thought precise liquidation was actually a thing! Dogecoin spiked to $0.09 just to target big players like Mao for liquidation. I used to think the leaders in this industry were all about integrity and principles... but this time, I’ve truly lost my illusions and faced reality. This crash has completely shattered the trust I painstakingly built with my family and friends regarding crypto. After the terrifying night of October 11, they all feel like they’ve narrowly escaped disaster. A friend called me and said, “Oh my god, so making money in the crypto world is really like licking blood off a knife’s edge. I run a brick-and-mortar business—it’s tough, sure, but as long as I make good products and provide good service, there’s always some return! Investments should have hope, not just vanish overnight.” Now, the friends I introduced to Bitcoin just want to sell immediately, and the family members who bought Dogecoin want to strangle me. The way they look at me is either full of resentment or outright murderous. I feel so guilty, like I’ve betrayed their trust. Even though I know Bitcoin will keep moving forward, the industry really feels like a cesspool. For people who are busy with work and business, investing in crypto assets seems to do more harm than good—it’s just too draining, mentally and emotionally. What’s more, When it comes to investing, crypto isn’t the only option out there. By 2025, there will be plenty of people making money in U.S. stocks and A-shares—and countless others profiting from gold. But those who stick to the crypto world are still taking losses. Choice matters more than effort—it’s time to consider leaving! Lastly, wishing Mao all the best in his AI startup journey—may he achieve great success and realize his ambitions!
