I've mentioned countless times that if liquidation happens, there should at least be a rebound. This morning, I sold ETH 3500 Put options expiring Monday. If it drops, I'll take the position; if it doesn't, I'll keep selling 3400–3500 Put options expiring Friday. This strategy is likely better than directly buying the spot. 1. If the market consolidates next, I might not get the spot position, and I have no idea how much it will rebound. 2. If the market continues to crash, it's equivalent to buying spot at 3500. Even in an extreme scenario where it drops to 3100, there should still be a rebound. At 3500, there's at least a chance to recover from the dip.
