On Monday, the Southwark Crown Court in London announced that the 47-year-old Chinese woman admitted to charges of illegally obtaining and holding cryptocurrency. According to a statement from British police, between 2014 and 2017, she deceived over 128,000 victims and converted the illicit funds into Bitcoin assets. Police stated that the case involved a seven-year investigation spanning multiple jurisdictions.
