He stated that if the rules are different, established players will not be able to compete. The Chicago Board Options Exchange (@CBOE) expressed a similar view: 'I appreciate this kind of innovation, but if there’s an opportunity for greater success, then we should all strive for it. We will all be outstanding competitors and exceptional innovators. But we should not be trapped in outdated models.'
