A major top-tier exchange is about to launch a product similar to a DEX (UEX).
You’ll be able to buy any coin on the exchange.
UEX is basically an exchange integrated with wallet search functionality.
Actually, there’s still quite a big difference between a DEX and UEX.
Last week, a friend of mine received an email from a certain exchange asking for proof of funds (Uncle’s request).
Looks like my friend accidentally flexed their wealth and got targeted by Uncle.
So my friend moved all their funds to a DEX. The DEX didn’t ask for the source of funds—if the money is in your wallet, you can trade.
So the biggest difference between a DEX and UEX is probably:
UEX: When Uncle comes looking for you, the exchange will send you an email in advance, asking for proof of funds and exercising risk control.
DEX: As long as the money is in your own wallet and isn’t blacklisted USDT, no one has the authority to freeze it.
The advantage of UEX is that it has the lowest learning curve—if you know how to use an exchange, you’ll know how to use UEX.
I specifically tried out BG’s UEX yesterday, and it was pretty smooth.
Any guesses which exchange is about to launch UEX?
