Odaily Planet Daily reports that OpenAI has announced plans to invest $100 billion in backup servers to drive AI breakthroughs. In March of this year, OpenAI launched the ChatGPT feature, which can transform photos into animated characters. Due to a surge in usage, the company had to temporarily limit these features, and this is not the first time such an issue has occurred. Chief Financial Officer Sarah Friar told investors at a Goldman Sachs conference last week that, due to insufficient computing power, the company has had to periodically delay the release of new features or AI models, or intentionally reduce the performance of certain products.
