[Sky Community Has Initiated Voting on the Proposal for 'Imposing a Delay Penalty on MKR Upgrades to SKY'] Sky (formerly MakerDAO) announced on Platform X that voting on the proposal to 'implement a delay penalty for MKR upgrades to SKY' has commenced. As part of the ongoing MKR-to-SKY upgrade process, Sky Atlas has explicitly stipulated that the executive vote on September 18, 2025, will set a 1% delay penalty for the new MKR-to-SKY conversion contract. If the vote passes, starting from September 22, 2025, all MKR-to-SKY upgrade operations will be subject to a 1% upgrade penalty. Subsequently, the delay penalty will gradually increase at a rate of 1% every three months.
