Only 5% of Bitcoin's total supply is left to be mined. Currently, almost 20M BTC are mined. Of these 20 million coins, 3M-4M is expected to be lost forever. Compare that to worlds population and the growing demand & adoption, and you can see how little coins there actually are relatively speaking.
