[Wall Street Stablecoin Talent War Drives Up Salary Levels, Compliance Roles Reach Annual Salaries of Up to $350,000]
Odaily Planet Daily News: The stablecoin boom has greatly benefited cryptocurrency wallet technology provider Defense, but in some ways, this "benefit" might have gone a bit too far. Clarisse Argej, co-founder of the company, raised $16 million for her startup this January and is now expanding to meet the needs of clients in the stablecoin sector. However, the growing popularity of these crypto tokens has sparked a talent war, making it both challenging and costly for her 42-employee company to fill 17 vacant positions. "Everyone is spending big money now," she said. Owen Dean, founder of fintech recruitment firm Find, stated, "A massive talent 'gold rush' is unfolding in this field right now." He estimated that about 80% of the positions his company has placed in recent months are related to stablecoins. Dean revealed that in the U.S., the annual base salary for stablecoin strategy leaders at major traditional financial institutions typically ranges from $250,000 to $400,000; in the U.K., the annual salary for such positions is expected to be between £150,000 and £220,000. Meanwhile, in the U.S., senior compliance roles in the stablecoin sector can command annual salaries of up to $350,000. (Jin10)
