The targets of Korean whales are basically highly controlled, then pumped to extreme highs. Any contract shorts will end up grinding themselves to liquidation due to fee issues. That's just how $M works. $IP is slightly better, with more room for pullbacks, but if you're stubborn and keep shorting, $IP will definitely teach you a lesson. The last pump from positive news mainly had two parts: 1) A major company repurchased $80 million, so it shot up directly from $6 to $8. 2) Grayscale started working on $IP's vault, which is basically one foot into the Wall Street circle. Not sure why, but their ecosystem products are also insanely funded. Previously, there was http://IP.world and Poseidon—this thing was led by a16z. They just launched a new project recently, so if you're interested, check it out. And then there's Aria these past couple of days, which is working on an on-chain asset platform, led by Polychain. The main focus is on collaboration, high control, and deep pockets. If you've participated in a few meme targets on IP.world, your returns are basically in the 3-5x range. To sum up, for Korean projects, you definitely need to stick with them for the ride.
