How should I put it... The first half of this year has been pretty rough for my accounts. Here's a quick rundown: Berachain was a major flop because it didn’t send anything to Galaxy. Towns was a major flop because its basic rewards were even lower than I expected. Lagrange was a major flop because it only distributed 0.something percent. Hyperlane was a major flop because the price was ridiculously low. Sonic was a major flop because the project team was just unreasonable. Hemi was a major flop because the damn thing required face scans three times. And recently, there was another major flop because it witch-hunted 99% of the testnet participants, completely breaking the spirit of my collaboration partners. This year, the flop rate has been pretty high, and other studios aren’t doing much better either. September was alright though. Boundless—I had a lot of accounts, spent several days grinding and still didn’t finish. Luckily, I set up the basic reward accounts correctly, but the allocation per account was a bit low, kind of dumb on my part. Monad’s OG card—no idea who quietly bumped me up, but they didn’t even bother to let me know. Linea—after years of delays, it finally launched. But pre-launch price was $0.03, so even with 5 million tokens, that’s only $150k. What’s there to brag about? Some of my accounts got messed up by ADS; otherwise, I’d have had just as much. Given the massive retreat in chain-based airdrops, I’ve shifted my focus to projects that require spending money, like Wildcard, three perp DEXs, and two stablecoin chains. Can airdrops still deliver single-project, million-dollar results? Honestly, I’m feeling pretty lost~
