The reason why no one quits working completely after they make it is simply because the mindset that got them there simply won’t “shut down” just because they have enough money. If you think about it, the people who make it have some kind of skills that they’re above average at. If you think of people at CT, these could be skills like trading, DeFi skills, marketing, Twitter growth, +++. Usually, it’s a unique blend of multiple above-average abilities that sets someone apart and makes them more skilled than most. I was at a birthday party some weeks ago, and one of the guys there said something along the lines of “If I were in your shoes, I’d just move to the Caribbean and enjoy life. Why keep working?”. While his point is valid, this is simply not how my brain works. If you have the personality (often hardcore introverts), and the stamina to make it in the first place (usually way more hours than a classic 9-5), it’s not like you’re going to stop enjoying work. While money may not be the main factor anymore, it’s an immense pleasure in the building in itself, or having the motivation of reaching a new goal. Also, you need new dopamine rushes. By doing nothing, you just kill yourself slowly. Many people end up spending money on expensive things after they make it, only to find out that it means nothing and that no one cares. No one notices this stuff. And, sorry, bro, you won’t get laid more often. The only people who notice this stuff are the fake rich bro’s you see all over Insta. Anyway, after a while, you realize that life is long and that you can’t just chill. You need to “produce”. The skills that made you wealthy in the first place are usually what people go back to.
