Just legalize prostitution already. The beating around the bush is more offensive than actually allowing it to happen. Let big tech launch the app, have mandatory testing for verified badges on the app, allow anonymous review systems for client and provider protection, have payments done through the app for extra protection, make deals with cheap La Quintas that can be rented by hour blocks of time, cleaned afterwards, problem solved. The providers get the security of doing things through an app rather than the danger that comes with pimps and cash clients, they see clients are verified being tested and clean, if they have reviews there is extra security, and reverse it for the client as well. They know their sex worker is discreet and clean and respectful as well. If done right this cuts back on degeneracy, brings legitimacy to the world’s oldest profession, puts appropriate safety guardrails in place, and takes people off of the streets. It’s a no brainer held back by puritanical outrage. It’s better in every way.
