Jamaica is preparing for the future of work and investment. We are already positioning our country to benefit from near-shoring and friendly-shoring as global supply chains recalibrate. That is why we have made major investments, such as the Caymanas development and Raintree, designed to bring new production and new jobs to Jamaica. At the same time, we are ensuring our people are ready. Already, over 120,000 young Jamaicans are accessing free training through HEART, not just in BPO and logistics, but in emerging fields. Through initiatives like the Amber HEART Academy, we are training hundreds of young people in coding, data science, and advanced technology skills, preparing Jamaica to attract the high-quality jobs of the future.
