My deepest impression of the LayerZero project is how in 2023 they tried to trick everyone into farming airdrops... using photoshopped images + borderline hints... claiming they'd be listed on Nasdaq in 2023. If you didn’t farm the airdrop, you’d miss out (they even said this during offline meetings with investors)... making bank off the fees contributed by farming studios, raking in billions.
