The PNP decimated Jamaica’s middle class. It is the Jamaica Labour Party that rebuilt and strengthened the middle class, by increasing the non-tax threshold so workers could take home more pay, and through our historic compensation review, which delivered over 200 billion in salary increases for public sector workers. Today, PAYE contributors are seeing real growth in their earnings. That is progress you can measure. By contrast, the PNP’s current proposal cannot work. The Jamaica Labour Party has shown not just promises, but results that uplift Jamaican families and rebuild the middle class.(Andrew Holness)
