Gemini Partners with Ripple to Launch XRP Credit Card, Offering Cashback Rewards for Spending

According to CoinDesk, cryptocurrency exchange Gemini has partnered with Ripple to launch an XRP credit card, providing users with cryptocurrency rewards for various types of spending. Similar to Gemini's other cashback cards, this card is issued by WebBank. Cardholders can earn up to 4% XRP cashback on gas, electric vehicle charging, and rideshare expenses, 3% on dining, 2% on groceries, and 1% on other transactions. Gemini stated that they have also partnered with select merchants to offer up to 10% cashback on eligible purchases. Additionally, the exchange has expanded the use of Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin as a base currency for spot trading pairs for U.S. users.
