Google Announces Gemini for Home to Launch on Nest Smart Speakers

According to The Verge, Google has announced that the new AI voice assistant Gemini for Home will roll out to Nest smart speakers and displays this October through an early access program, available in both free and paid versions. Gemini for Home will replace the existing Google Assistant, enabling more natural voice interactions and supporting advanced home control, list creation, reminders, and other features. Gemini Live will be launched simultaneously to enhance multi-turn conversation experiences. Google may release new Nest hardware this fall to complement the upgrade.
