A U.S. federal judge has lifted the freeze on $57.6 million USDC linked to the meme token Libra. The token, promoted by Argentine President Javier Milei in February this year, quickly collapsed. The frozen assets were originally controlled by Hayden Davis (Kelsier Labs) and Ben Chow (Meteora). The plaintiffs accused the two of misleading investors and sought over $100 million in damages. Judge Jennifer L. Rochon stated that the defendants had cooperated well during the litigation, the plaintiffs failed to prove irreparable harm, and she expressed doubts about their chances of winning.
